Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with simpledrop for any reason, request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase -- no questions asked.
1. Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request it within 14 days of your first payment on a paid plan (Starter, Pro, Team, or Business).
- It is your first refund request for the same plan. Repeated sign-up-and-refund cycles are not eligible.
2. How to Request a Refund
Email support@simpledrop.zip with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The plan you purchased.
- (Optional) The reason for your refund — this helps us improve.
We aim to process refund requests within 3 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
3. After a Refund
Once a refund is processed, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. Your files will remain accessible but subject to Free plan storage limits (10 GB). File retention is configurable; by default files never expire. Files that exceed these limits may be queued for deletion.
4. Cancellations (No Refund)
If you cancel your subscription after the 14-day guarantee period, you will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. However, your paid plan features remain active until the end of that cycle. You can continue using the Service during this period.
5. Free Plan
The Free plan is entirely free and does not involve any charges. There is nothing to refund.
6. Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse, such as repeated sign-up-and-refund cycles, or if the account was used in violation of our Terms of Service.
